Network errors

Network errors occur because connection to Zotero server or a file storage service fail. This can occur for several reasons:
  • You may be on a cellular network or a WiFi network with poor reception. This causes connections to timeout.
  • You may be on a WiFi network that requires browser-based authentication. ZotPad supports some, but not all, such networks. If you think that this is the case, you should contact ZotPad support to resolve the issue.
  • The service that you are connecting to can be experiencing problems.
The best way to troubleshoot network issues is to check if you can use Mobile Safari without problems and if switching to a known high-quality WiFi network solves the problem.
